A crazy few months!

It has been the craziest couple of months! We were so busy I didn't have time to blog! So here is what happened!

On November 12, Shaffen celebrated his 35th birthday! He wasn't very excited about it but we were! We went to dinner with Steven, Rachel, Jason, and Amanda. Carlee watched the kids and we had cake and ice cream when we got home.














Covin took our picture...I think this was the 5th or 6th time cause he kept cutting one of us off!





Thanksgiving!


We were not able to go out of town Thanksgiving day so I cook dinner for us all by myself!
I made home made rolls, a delicious turkey, potatoes, gravy, corn, and green bean casserole! It turned out soooo good, if I do say so myself! Shaffen's mom and husband joined us.

Conner learned how to ride a bike on December 11th without training wheels! I recorded it the day it happened but my cell phone wouldn't allow me to upload it on my computer. This day he dressed himself too!

On December 16th, both boys had a Christmas concert!

Conner's preschool teacher had them perform for us. She wanted Conner to be Santa. I ordered him a costume. He was a riot! He did such a good job. Although he was WAY more animated at home than the program, everyone said he did such a good job and was super cute!

On December 17th, I graduated from Nursing School!

Me and my family before graduation. So exciting....oh boy has it been a crazy couple of years! So glad it is OVER!!!!

They let us pick who we wanted to pin us...I wanted Shaffen and my boys. They have endured so much to make it possible for me to go to school I definitely wanted them to be a part of it. Shaffen walked up with the boys and Covin wanted nothing to do with it. He doesn't like crowds and people looking at him. Conner on the other hand doesn't mind a bit. He took my pin out of my hand and put it around my neck. He cracks me up!

I appreciated everyones help so much during school that I decided to everyone a gift. I got all the girls lotion, my mom Candy, my Dad a variety of candy, my boys a skate board and scooter, and Shaffen a gun. He was very surprised. I had a couple of his friends help me in getting it. He has been in LOVE ever since!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

This year I noticed I didn't take many pictures...I videoed a lot! My boys wanted a trampoline really bad. Well they must have been good cause Santa delivered!

They both got guitars and a ton of Cardinals things.

And here it the trashed house afterwards! We did have a great Christmas. I got some really awesome gifts...a vacuum cleaner mop, its pretty cool. I also got a kitchen stereo...LOVE IT!!! Shaffen got a lot of Cardinals things from the boys (some I am sure he won't wear!) an electric blanket cause he is always freezing, and he purchased himself a scope for his new gun. He couldn't wait for Christmas (I was going to give him money...oh well!!!).

Well it has been crazy getting school over with but I am very excited to finish. I have to take my state boards and I will be officially complete! I could have NEVER finished without help...Thank you again....Shaffen, my kids, My parents, Shaffen's mom, Becki, Rachel, Steven, Nikki, Jarrod, Jason, Amanda, Mila, Lisa, and Megan! I couldn't have done it without you...thank you for taking care of my kids and husband when I couldn't be here. It means so much to me to be able to leave my kids and them be happy. You loved them like I do and treated them good. They were never crying or sad when I left because you were good to them...I will never be able to say thank you enough for me being able to have peace when I left!

Flag Football 2010

This season Shaffen decided to coach, Covin, Carsen, and Jaten got to be on the same team. Along with a lot of Covin's friends.

Covin getting ready! This year Shaffen really wanted Covin to be a running back. Covin is a very fast runner, but he doesn't like to be chased. So there was a HUGE conflict getting him to run the ball. We decided to bribe him with a few things. One of the games we told him we would pay him $5 for each touchdown and we would take him to Richie's last race in Show Low. Richie told him if he scored a touchdown then he could go help him in the pit. So not really knowing what he would do I filmed the game so I don't have any pictures. This game he actually scored 3 touchdowns. So after the game we drove to Show Low to the races.

Covin had a blast being in the pit with Richie and my dad. There wasn't anyone to help so they were glad to have him down there. I guess my dad drives this 4-wheeler back and forth during the race with tires for Richie and another guy. Covin got to drive the other one because there wasn't anyone else to help. Covin thought he was pretty cool driving around.

Covin had a football game in Benson so on the way home we decided that we would take the kids to Apple Annie's in Willcox. It was hot but the kids loved it.

Shaffen got drawn for deer again this year. This year was different because we couldn't go camping. So he drove back and forth everyday. He took the boys with him a few times. I thought they looked so cute when they came home I had to take a picture.

Shaffen said the boys did pretty good. Only fought a little and it was over who got to carry the backpack. Shaffen took Covin out of school on one of the days early. Covin loved it. Shaffen was so proud at how well he did. Although Shaffen didn't get a deer, he really loved taking the boys out with him. He said it made it worth it!

Covin from the backside...my mom made him his hair. The hair didn't last long, it was hot and poking him. I thought it was hilarious!!!! Everyone loved his uniform. They kept asking me where we got it. People would yell "Go Cardinals!" when he walked by. He would get shy and smile and pretty much walk away!

Conner....he wants to be a Cowboy. So I basically bought him everything so he can wear it again. He picked out his shirt. I got him Wranglers...way cute from the back! His boots he has been wearing for a month. And his hat...couldn't resist. He also has handcuffs hanging from his belt in the back. Everyone was cracking up at him.

My handsome "MEN." Yesterday Conner was walking behind Covin and he says, "MMMM, Covin you smell good!" Covin says, "Yeah, I know. I used Dad's soap in the shower and I smell like a MAN!" They crack me up!

This month has been soooo crazy for us. I had to be out of town for school a ton. I have been gone a ton. The first adventure out of town my cousin Megan came and stayed with my boys at my house. They absolutely LOVED her. She played with them and brought her little dog.
Which Conner loves and Covin not so much! Rachel helped out the second time I had to leave. She kept the boys over night 2 nights. They LOVED it. Then the next week my mom came down to stay with my kids and Shaffen for 12 days! She is leaving today. I am so glad that this month it over! I really appreciate all of their help. I really wouldn't be able to finish school without their help. School has pretty much kicked my butt. My family and friends have been so great! It is so nice to be able to leave my kids and KNOW that they are being taken care of and are loved. Finally, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel for school. I pretty much have 6 weeks left to go. So excited and stressful at the same time. This last Friday was my last Clinical FOREVER!!!! It was such a weird feeling. At school I have only 2 more tests and we are planning our graduation. So crazy!! I have missed my husband and kids SOOOO much lately that I can't stand it. I am emotional and crazy at the same time. I have so much going on and so many things to do that I can't settle down. I LOVE my family and am so grateful that they understand and are willing to put up with my craziness!
