Happy Happy Birthday BABY!

So today my BABY turned 2!!!! And I am so sad, for some reason this time it makes me teary eyed! I am such a wuss!!! So unfortunately for you all I am using this blogging as a journal and I want to print this for a book at some point.
Anyways, Conner was born May 31, 2006 at 8am a scheduled C-section. It was supposed to be earlier but they couldn't find Shaffen. After waiting for 20 minutes and the OR team being scrubbed in the Doctor asked me if I minded if they started without him. I am usually polite and had it been any other circumstance I would have said yes. So annoyed with me they waited. He finally showed up and in 2 minutes he was out. I was so shocked because he was so much smaller than Covin was. He weighed in at 7# 4 oz and 18 1/2 inches long or in this case short! :)
I was very nervous about having another kid because I was worried about being able to love them the same. I couldn't imagine being able to love another kid as much as I did Covin! But it is crazy, I was so scared and as soon as he was born all those fears were gone!
He was so tiny and perfect. I was afraid I would break him, but in no time he gained weight and continues to be in the 90-95% in his weight! We nicknamed him Chubs! After he got bigger that was the only thing he would answer to, it was funny.



I am not sure if Covin liked the baby or the sucker more! :)

All in all I think that I have the cutest and funniest kids. Don't we all! :) He is such a funny and crazy little boy and I am so sad to see him grow up! It has been a sad week for me he now sleeps in a big boy bed and he and Covin now share a room. He will not sit in a high chair anymore. My baby is no longer a baby! He talks back and runs away! And tries to get everyone in trouble. He tells me all day, Mama Ovin busted! Daddy busted, smack him. He is hilarious, he keeps us laughing all day. Even when he is throwing himself on the floor! He hates swimming pools and any kind of kid rides (like the ones at Chuck E. Cheese). He is not a thrill seeker at all! His favorite food is Ice Cream. And no he does not get it all of the time, I ask him what he wants to eat for lunch and he says, ummm ummm Ice cream? He likes to eat Chicken and Etchup (ketchup). If I say Conner what is on your face, he says ummm ummm Etchup! He loves his brother like crazy, wants to do everything just like him. He is getting to big too fast. He is already trying to say all his ABC's and tries to count to 10. He absolutely loves babies. Somehow he knows that they are way smaller than him and he just loves them. It is fun watching him grow and change everyday, not so fun when he picks up on the bad things! It is a little embarrassing. :) Sorry so long but I think my kid is great and so very cute! And he is not a baby anymore! :( Happy Birthday Chubs, I mean Conner!

Happy Birthday Rachel!!!

Happy 30th Birthday Rachel!!! Sorry about the week my intension was not to remind you that you were turning 30, just try to make it a little easier! :) I have heard it is not fun!! Anyways I hope you had a great one!

She drove from Mesa this day because she knew I was dying in the hospital and she couldn't stand it! Anyways, thank you for coming to my rescue and being there for my C-section! Covin was so going to be my last child!!!!

Preschool graduation, next stop Kindergarten!

I am a little late on preschool graduation! Anyways, Covin graduated from preschool on May 21st. His teacher had a really cute program!

The kids did a really good job. They were funny to watch.

This is my rotten little boy who doesn't like people to look at him. He told me he was not going to sing because people will look at him. What a pleasant face! :) So happy!

We had to make the kids their own person. He is standing with his friend Landen.

It was a very cute program, but sad because now he will be going to kindergarten. He will be gone all day long. So sad but I guess you can't stop them from growing up!

No nap and T-ball!!!

So Monday Conner would not take a nap for Shaffen. He cried and cried while I was at the store. So he got up and was so sad. He kept telling Shaffen "No Dan, No nap!" He calls his dad "Dan" now, apparently Dad is just to hard to say. I knew he was tired, but when he cries to much he makes himself puke. So of course we don't let it go on for very long (the crying). Anyways, while on my computer I heard him getting into something, he was hunched over in the black recliner and it just sounded like paper to me, so no big deal right!!!???

Well a little while goes on and I decided to walk over and check on him and this is what I found! He was dead asleep standing up snoring!!! With yarn that he had gotten into stuck on his sweaty face. It was hilarious!

T-Ball

The first game of T-Ball was yesterday! It was a long hot day for all of us, I went to work early so I could make it to Covin's game. Shaffen and one of his friends have been trying to lay tile in our kitchen. So it was a long crazy day.

Covin is not to sure about how hot it was. He always gets red in the face, crazy kid!

I gave Conner a Soda just so he would stay put and not run in the middle of the game! BAD mom I know.

Covin did so good! The kids were so excited when everyone started cheering for them. Covin writes right handed and has to bat left handed. It is crazy but he does so much better that way!

These kids did such a good job, it was definitely funny. The kids were running around the bases passing each other. It was so funny to watch, I am sure it will just get more entertaining with the rest of the games.

Just can't wait to get BIG! These two are going to be so good at whatever their brothers do, all they want to do is be like their big brothers. They crack me up!

These three have been together since they were born. Their parents are all friends of ours. It has been fun having them get to do so many things together!
Nikki has better pictures, my camera doesn't have zoom lens. So when Covin is sitting down in the out-field picking grass, with Nikki's camera you can actually see him! Good times!

Crazy weather, Crazy kids, Crazy life!

The weather here has been crazy! On Friday it was perfect, so we called up the cousins to play on the water slide! We shared this with our neighbors that moved and they left it for our boys. All it took was a piece of duct tape and an extra shoe string and the boys went crazy! They had a blast, we filled up the little pool for the little boys. They all had fun.Conner was too little to climb up the back-side so Shaffen had to help him!
It was funny to watch them! The bigger boys were going crazy. Jate didn't like it too much I think it was a little scary.

These boys were hilarious, they would play like crazy and then freeze. Nikki and I were getting sunburned and they were shivering!

WUSSES!!! :)

While we were playing Shaffen's sister Becki and family showed up! We got to hang out with Chloe! All of the boys were very excited!

She is so cute and so full of personality! She absolutely LOVED my boys! And they LOVED that Baby Girl! Obviously we don't get to play with girls very often. Nikki's baby Dex stared at her I think its cause he is not used to PINK on babies! :)

My boys played with her almost the whole time. She loved their Superman toys and their cars and trucks! Conner kept telling me "Mama, baby handsome!" Yeah we are not around girls enough!

Conner kept given her squeezes. And she would go crazy when he came by! We really enjoyed everyone coming around and hanging out with us! :)

Then on Tuesday while I was at work it rained! What crazy weather it has been! But the boys LOVED it because their dad let them play in it! I guess Covin even rode his bike down to get the mail while Shaffen and Conner drove next to him! Shaffen said Conner was SOOO excited!

Covin always wants to use the umbrella AND FINALLY after all this time with no rain he got too, gotta love the small things in life!

They apparently got soo excited it the house watching the rain that they ripped down my curtains!!!!! Bent the hook and pulled the screw out of the sheet rock! Yeah imagine that is the first thing I saw when I came home! But I couldn't really be mad because they were so happy and they didn't mean to! :) Next time probably won't go over so great!!!!

So school is over for me until summer school starts up on the 27th! But I am so happy I got B's in all on my classes! It was crazy to start school again after all this time. I was do scared to juggle my kids, my house, laundry, Shaffen, Work, and school ect. But I DID IT!!!! YEAH!!! This next time shouldn't be so bad!

We just started T-Ball and games are next week for I think 6 weeks. And swim lessons start the first part of June. Conner's birthday is on the 31st! And Covin graduates from preschool on the 21st! It is getting crazy!! But exciting because it will be fun for the kids! Not so much for running around like crazy but it will keep the boys happy!
