Crazy as usual!!

We have been crazy busy as usual. There have been days where I haven't even been able to get on the computer! :) I have issues along with withdrawals!!!!!

We have had so many things going on (nothing special) just normal life. My boys are still crazy, as usual! Shaffen and I both have been able to spend one on one with Conner I have to say that kid has quite the personality! Shaffen will call me at work and tell me that he REALLY likes hanging out with Conner by himself. When Covin gets home they are wild and crazy then they start fighting. I have noticed this week and watched a little better Conner LOVES to argue! It doesn't matter who with either or if he is TOTALLY WRONG he still does it! He must get that from his dad!!!! HAHA!!! We also started potty training Conner. To our surprise he has done really well. He has only peed in his pants 1 time in a week and a half! I was quite shocked. Now, him doing the other on the toilet he has not mastered that! I am not sure how to conquer that one. Rachel and I bought a book (recommended by our cousin) but I didn't remember the title correctly and we got the wrong one! :( The one we bought was called "Everybody Poops," my boys thought it was hilarious. Conner did learn that boys go poop in the bathroom on the potty. He just doesn't do it! Hopefully he will get it soon! :)

Last Friday I was at work and took care of at 1 year old that tested positive for Flu A and B. We didn't know he had it until I swabbed him and the results came back. Anyways, I had put off getting my Flu shot because I usually get achy and don't feel well for a few days. So that day I got my Flu shot and had to do my annual TB skin test. Covin is too fascinated with what I do at work so when he talks to me he always asks me if I poked any kids today. I draw blood all day long so the answer is always yes. So this day I told him that I got 2 pokes today. He was very concerned and had to turn the light on and see and asked me if it hurt. I told him it did a little bit but I didn't cry. So he tells Conner that I got poked. Conner understands pokes from sticker bushes that he usually gets into. So he (Conner) had a very concerned look on his face almost like a dirty look but this is how he is trying to listen. I had to show him my pokes and he said "Oh, Owee!" Then he started rubbing my arm and told me "Mama, I so Sorwy!" He was so cute! Days like these are what I love! These boys can be so sweet sometimes. I just need to remember that when they are being crazy!!!!

What a chore this was trying to get a good picture! Rachel wanted a recent one for my mom. Conner wouldn't hardly smile UNLESS Covin was getting hurt! He is such a turkey! Becki was in town and luckily Chloe was able to get success with the boys, they thought it was funny Chloe pulling Rachel's hair! BOYS!!!! SHEESH!!!!!

Shaffen's Deer (Yes, there are picture of it on here!)

So the past week we have been camping. Shaffen, Micah and Jason Larson were drawn for deer. We pulled our trailer and camped together for about 5 days. To all of our amazement everyone got a deer! Josh (Shaffen's brother) came down to help. Josh always comes to be Shaffen's personal guide. Thank you Josh!!!! The second day of the hunt Shaffen was the only one who hadn't gotten one yet, he and Josh went out early Saturday morning and came back about 3 pm. They had taken Josh's Jeep Cherokee and this is what it looked like! Yikes!!!

Our kids were very proud and this was the 3rd deer they had seen in 2 days. They went right over there and waited patiently for them to hang and skin the deer. It was very disturbing they were chanting "Cut it, Cut it, Cut it!" Little weirdos!

Conner was very excited and wasn't scared at all! He wanted to hold it up like everyone else!
Another disturbing picture Covin holding the legs open for quite some time. I told him to stop because it was freaking me out, they were just staring in the cavity. They had gutted it where he shot it, so it was empty but it grossed me out!
My boys very excited with their dad. Covin's tells everyone that the deer is HUGE! Shaffen is very proud that Covin is taking care of him! The deer is not so big, but it is a deer RIGHT!!! And we won't be eating a tag-sandwich!!!
Later that night I was putting Covin to bed and I kneeled down to say prayers with him. He asked me, "Mom why did dad shoot a NEW deer?" I had no clue what he was talking about. So I asked him what he meant by NEW? He said, "Dad got a deer that had the tag on it." I thought it was funny, not to sure what was going through his head. I guess he thought maybe it was new because whenever we buy things at the store they still have tags on them. So then of course I had to tell him all about the tags and why Dad had to put one on it. It was a funny conversation.

Micah brought Rocko back to hunt he was disappointed that he missed the deer hunt but his dad made it up by shooting a rabbit. He was VERY excited and he had found someones arrow they lost!
Jarrod and Nikki came to hang out and brought their Four-Wheeler. Conner who usually HATES it and CRIES the entire time LOVED it! Shaffen took him and he was driving it. Shaffen showed him where the gas was and off they went. I was cracking up. Shaffen would make him stop for someone else to have a turn and they would walk over and Conner would push the gas and take off again! It was hilarious!
Rocko got a turn and LOVED it also. He got a little wild and crazy but No-one was hurt! :) His dad was scared but Rocko's smile never went away!

I had to get some pictures of our little dirtballs! This was the last night they were filthy, just like everyday we were here but I didn't get any pictures those days. I swear they brought in half the dirt every time!

And even though Conner looks a little drunk he wasn't! He was so tired everyday after playing all day long he would almost fall asleep while playing in the dirt. His nose and face looked like this all day everyday. I would wipe it off at least 10 times a day but it didn't do any good!

All in all the guys all got a deer and the kids had a blast! It was fun while it lasted but now we are back to reality.....laundry and cleaning that nasty trailer out!

Happy Happy Birthday Shaffen!

So today Covin's dad is turning the BIG 33!!! Covin has been talking about it forever....he is fascinated with peoples ages. He thinks we are old! We wanted to tell Our Daddy Happy Birthday!!!

I have never met anyone quite like this man! Those of you who know him can understand! There is just something about him that made me fall head over heels!!!! He is quite the comedian at the most inappropriate times. He is all about his boys and of course me! He tries to teach them something everyday, good or bad they learn something new.
These are some of my favorite pictures BECAUSE he had never been around babies, never changed a diaper in his life. He grew so much in these few days and made me fall in love with him all over again! I cannot believe how much these boys have changed his and my life forever!

It was tough after we had Conner because he only wanted me for the first 9 months or so, Shaffen would get sad because he didn't want him. But now I bet he wishes it was back to that, Conner is such a little Shaffen!!!! He wakes up every morning asking "Where is my Daddy? I want my Daddy!" He wants to do everything that Covin and Shaffen do. During the week I have class so Rachel and Nikki help me with Conner, well lately he has been crying not to go to their houses. So I ask him where he wants to go, "I want to go to my Daddy's house!" I tell him Daddy lives with us. He tells me "Daddy's work!" Poor kid so confused and I am afraid of the rumors that will start!! :)
I am very proud to be married to this man. He is such a great example to me and my boys. I would be proud if they grew up to be just like him! He does so much for us and is going to school also. I love that he doesn't stop learning. He is so intelligent, school is easy for him. Hopefully the boys get the gene! He is my best friend and counselor! My boys LOVE him like crazy!
Happy Happy Birthday! We hope your day is great!

I forgot about the Halloween party!

Oh my another post! I can't believe how behind I am. This should be it! I totally forgot about our Halloween party! This is my hot self with my sister-in-laws and my sister!

I had planned some games for the kids and as you can see a VERY flattering picture of me! :)

Another view (close-up) of Shaffen and I!
Dash AKA Covin

Baby Jack Jack AKA Conner.

All of the Cousins!!

Carlee being toilet papered for the Mummy competition!

I really enjoy doing these kind of things for the kids. I love holidays and I think Halloween is one of my favorites! I always try to make them fun and exciting! I am very glad the kids had fun and hopefully we can do it again next year. I think that I will try to have a more comfortable outfit next year!!!! Thank you everyone for all of your help!

Our weekend!

Another trip to Duncan. On Saturday Shaffen picked up an extra shift and had to go to the range to site in his gun for hunting season, so me not wanting to sit around drove myself and the boys to hang out with Brett, Becki and Chloe. I was able to put both of their bikes in the trunk of my little car. Covin got to ride on a tractor and we rode 4 wheelers to feed the chicken and geese. They rode their bikes everywhere. Brett then mentioned his neighbor had just picked cotton and why don't we go play in it. I didn't really know what he meant. So off we went in the back of his truck. Apparently the big green machine sorta vacuums up the cotton and puts it into this huge bed. We climbed into the bed and could stand on the cotton. Covin thought that was great he was jumping off of the sides of the bed and into the cotton. Conner was freaking out he didn't like the instability of the cotton under his feet!

Not too thrilled Conner!!!
Covin lovin life!!!
I am not sure what they call this machine but I call it the Cotton Picker!
Then Brett suggested playing at the gravel pit! Yes they had lots of fun doing this!

No need for a beach or a sand box we can just take them here! :)
Covin on the conveyor belt.

Covin on top of the world! He thought this place was great! Thanks Becki and Brett for entertaining us again, we had a blast!

As usual our lives are still crazy! Shaffen got drawn for deer so we will be camping and hunting this weekend. Hopefully he gets one soon!!! Covin and I are supposed to be at school on some of the days but hopefully we can ditch!!

I had to add another class to my schedule. I am really bummed about it. To be able to get into the Nursing program you have to take a Medical Dosing test, if you pass it with a 90% you don't have to take the class. The test is 100 questions and I had learned some of it 2 days prior to taking it. I ran out of time to study so I just took it. I found out that I got an 88%!!!! Seriously if I would have studied for even 2 minutes I could have gotten 2 more questions right!!! So lucky me I have class now 2 days more a week!!!

Our Halloween!

Finally I am trying to catch up! This is our Halloween day! I worked graveyards the night before so Shaffen had to bake cookies and take Covin his Halloween costume at school that day. He is so good!!! At school they had a parade where all the kids got to walk around the block while the parents watched. Later that day his school put on a carnival. I don't have many pictures from that but they had jumping castles, trunk or treating, food and a lot of games. We stayed for an hour then went to see Shaffen's dad with the kids dressed up. Grabbed dinner and off we all went trick-or-treating. This is most of the kids: Rachels, Nikki's, Mine and Becki's. We then met up with my friend Lisa. We had quite the wild bunch!!! They had fun all except for Conner who slept through most of it!!!
Uncle Shaffen and Chloe!
Chloe trying to stand up, she looked like she was spraying!

These people always decorate their house fun. There is a scary person coming out of that box....creeepy!

My boys were having an awful day or maybe I was just grouchy! Anyways this is the best picture I could get before they started crying and trowing a fit! Covin is Dash off of the incredibles and Conner is baby Jack Jack!
The same cool house but Conner was afraid of this dancing ghost!

A few days before we carved pumpkins they turned out pretty good. Covin had a pirate, Conner had a Happy pumpkin. Covin was a little sad because he couldn't really help on the pirate so we had a small on from Duncan and he and I carved his name into it.

The one you cannot see is Covin's pumpkin with his name on it.

All in all it was a crazy busy day and I was so excited the kids were tired after about an hour!!!! YEAH!!!!
