CAUTION PICTURE OVERLOAD!!!
So our spring break finally arrived....it was much anticipated by ME!!! We had planned on going to Mesa this last Sunday after church. Covin was supposed to give a talk and Shaffen and I were teaching in Nursery. Around 7:15am my phone had a message from work. They called a disaster and needed help. Illegal immigrants were driving saw an officer and got scared and crashed into a canal. The original message said 12 were injured and 2 were critical. I called and made arrangements for church and went and helped. There were not 12 injured there was 25! It was crazy there were people everywhere. Most were soaking wet and shivering. It was really sad. I actually felt sorry for most of them. They are just trying to make a better life for themselves. I know that it is done all the wrong way, but I can't blame them for trying. Most of them were really hurt. They were so polite and thankful for our help. After about 4 hours there I was able to come home and get ready for our well deserved break!
DAY 1
I found this place online called Jeepers. It is an indoor amusement park for kids. WELL worth the money. You pay only $5 for a bracelet for the kids, adults do not need one. They can ride all of the rides all day. We then paid for tokens for them to play video games. Conner was HILARIOUS!!!! This kid cracks me up. He climbed right onto this little roller coaster with Covin. He had a blast until it went around more than 3 times then he was done. The ride stopped and Conner was excited it was over, but it didn't stop there the coaster then took them around at least 5 times backwards! Poor kid! And if that wasn't enough we put him on a ride sorta like the teacups at Disneyland. They spun him around like crazy. I felt bad. I wasn't sure if he would throw up or not. He did really well until he just let go and he had a panicked look on his face so I stopped the ride and took him off. He told me, "Mama that guy throw me high up in the air, that not very nice!" I died laughing. I don't know what was going through his little head! :)

DAY 2
The Wildlife World Zoo!!! Conner's favorite part, forget the animals get this boy on the train!!!!
They were
soo excited about riding the train. They would just look at the animals and ask when can we ride the train!!!

HMMMM....totally would have thought we took little girls with us! These boys screamed and squealed the whole time. Conner was the funniest. The were right in his face when they were standing. He would let out a HUGE squeal and then he would walk away. I was laughing so hard I about cried.
He would only pet them when they were walking away. My boys were so concerned about the poop everywhere that they missed most of the animals. I am not sure where we got these boys....oh yeah, they act just like
their dad!!

In December they opened an aquarium also. Conner LOVED the alligators!!! This picture was creepy.
I didn't put all of the pictures on here. You can actually touch sting rays and star fish. Conner just liked splashing in the water. They have a HUGE pool that sting rays swim around in a circle and you put your hand in and they swim right up to them. It was also creepy.
Shaffen wouldn't do it (chicken!) I made him feel bad cause the boys would either. So
FINALLY he did!!! Such a proud moment for me!!!

Outside of the exhibit the have a Water log ride. Covin was begging to go on. So I talked Shaffen into taking both the boys on it. It was HILARIOUS!!! I don't know how well you can see Conner but he defiantly has the "What THE ......!" Look on his face! I was dying!!!! He didn't even blink until water splashed on his face!
HE LOVED IT!!! He was telling me they made a huge splash!! He was cracking up! I am so happy, he is such a chicken!
Since we were so far into Phoenix we decided to go to
Cabellas and do a little shopping.
Shaffen could walk around in there for HOURS!!!! And NOT buy a thing!!!! It was fun anyways!!!
DAY 3
We did a little shopping and decided to travel home! This is why we hardly ever go out of town anymore....and the fact that I am always at school!
Traveling with a 2 year old! Even upset he is still CUTE! This didn't even phase Covin from watching his movie!
Do not adjust your sound he is screaming loud enough for your neighbors to hear!!! Confirmation that OUR trip needed to be OVER!!! He was done with his car seat!
Later that night I was showing the boys pictures from our trip. Then this video came on and Conner was laughing. He said, "Mama, Conner was sad, but I not sad anymore, I not buckled, I happy now!" Such a mess!!!
It was a great get away! And I can't wait for summer to come! Actually May 5th....my finals!!!!
Shaffen helped me paint and get everything done. I was so excited AND he didn't even complain!!!! :) I chose the Americana theme. Covin loves flags. I really liked the color of the bedding. Nikki helped me (she mostly did it! hehe ) make the board with the words on it, it says "Land of the Free because of the Brave. It should grow with them. 
The only thing that I want to do is put some vinyl lettering on the wall and hang some shelves.
I want to hang the shelves over the dresser. Some day I will finish. Hopefully it will be before Summer!
