My crazy boys!

Yet another busy week, I got my boys' hair cut this week. Talk about torture! Shaffen took Covin with him and for some reason he cried the entire time. Later that day my visiting teachers came by and Shaffen didn't want to stay so I told him to just take Conner and get his done also. I seriously get there hair cut around 3-4 weeks of there entire lives since they were 1! Anyways they acted like it was their first time. Shaffen came home and I about freaked out it looked horrible. He told me that Conner was going crazy there and she asked him bring him back tomorrow. Well I didn't really know what to think. So the next day Conner and I went alone and I had quite the work-out! My moves were great, I had a perfect head-lock that he got out of, I held him down and he was able to get up. Everything we did he was able to move! Not that I am trying to brag BUT I am one of the best that can hold a kid down for an IV. But not a hair cut!!!! Anyways here is Covin and Conner a little further down. All in all their hair wasn't so bad!

At swimming lessons Shaffen was holding Conner and he decided that he (Conner) needed to hold baby Dex! He loves BABY DEX!!!

It rained today it was wild! So of course I took the boys behind our house and let them play in the mud and water! Conner loves splashing but hates the 2 inches of mud on his shoes!

He stomped in this puddle for a good 20 minutes without moving!
Covin got a little carried away and slipped and fell......
But he thought it was funny!
They had fun tonight....I decided instead of letting them drive me crazy it is much easier to let them run wild outside!!!

On Saturday we met up with Nikki to sign Carsen and Covin up for Flag Football! I think this is going to be so fun. We did soccer last year and this year we decided to try our football. I am not sure if the boys really know what is going to happen, but I am sure we are in for a treat. They said last year they had 4 Flag teams and that included one from Morenci. So we will have at least one out of town. They are also going to try to put the boys on the same team, which will be better for all of us! It is going to be fun watching them play!!!!!

What a week!

So yesterday we decided to take a short drive up to Mt. Graham. It only takes around 15-20 minutes to get to 6000 feet! Jarrod and Nikki joined us with the kids. We took a lunch had a picnic, well sorta and then let the kids play in the creek. The weather was still a little hot then all of the sudden there was cloudy and started sprinkling. :)

The boys had a blast. Conner took off his shoes, hated how the dirt felt and then jumped in with his shoes on! Whatever!!! He is such a mess!

Yeah you want us to what, sit still and take a picture! This is the best one I got, Nikki's could be better. Every time they thought we were done they would move!

And this is my mess, he is loving hats. And what freaked me out even more is that this is Covin's hat and it fits Conner perfect!
So we have had a very stressful week, I have been studying my Anatomy and for my CNA test. I had a chapter test, my homework due, and also quiz' due, we had t-ball, swimming lessons and I went to the doctor and she was concerned about my thyroid, so I had to get my blood drawn. Also I have some weird lump on the side of my head and she wanted me to have an X-ray done. Covin wanted to go with me cause they were going to poke me with a needle, he thought that would be funny. He stood there and watched them, the lady decided to take forever with the needle figuring out which way to put it. Covin turned white as a ghost and started crying when she poked me. I started cracking up and made him come to me. He said I just don't want her to hurt you! How sweet I guess he really does like me! :)

And on top of all this Conner doesn't like to go to bed again. I had put him in bed and went to my room to brush my teeth, I needed to study and do some homework. Anyways, about 10 minutes goes by and my door flings open, it was Conner. I said what are you doing? He tells me "No nigh, night mama!" Then proceeds to climb into my bed, lays on Shaffen's pillow and tells me "Mama, TV!" And then holds out his hand and says "Remote!" I said I don't think so go nigh, night! Yeah needless to say he won. He layed there until I was done studying and went to bed at 11:30!

So I thought I would try whatever it takes to get that kid in bed. He tells me he wants "Ovins bed!" So I asked Covin if he could sleep with him. He said yes, so Conner layed next to him. I figured they would play. But they did not! Conner snuggled right into Covin's armpit and had his hand holding Covin's face. It was the funniest thing I have seen. And they were both asleep! Two nights in a row Covin has put Conner to sleep for me! It is hilarious, I want to take a picture, but I run the risk of the flash waking them up! NO WAY!!!!

My poor kids have had a rough week. I was so scared and nervous and stressed, they didn't want to be home with me. Anyways, I made it through the week and found out today that I passed my written and practical portion with an overall grade of 96% on my CNA exam! Yeah, finally that part is over with! I guess I really shouldn't of freaked out for such a long time! Sorry to Shaffen and my boys who had to put up with their crazy mom!!! Hopefully it slows down some for a little while! :)

Who's kid are you anyway!!!!

Yeah it has been a little while. I had a very interesting week with the boys! And got to thinking WHO'S KIDS ARE YOU ANYWAYS!!!!

Last week we were eating dinner at a restaurant and out of no where Covin askes "Mom, do girls poop?" I started laughing, then when I looked up there was a waitress walking right by our table. She pretended not to hear, then all of the sudden she busted up laughing. He was so embarrassed I think he forgot we didn't answer his question! What a question, he must think that is something grouse and girls are not supposed to be! :)

Later this week I got asked by Covin, "UMMM, do you think we could get a fish that doesn't die?" Yeah we tried fish and yes we killed them all within a week. I think we had 6 and in 1 week all of them died! Good thing we don't have a dog!

Then out of the blue Covin wants to know, "Mom, ummm I really want a baby girl, can you get one in your belly?" I said sorry buddy not right now. I tried explaining that I am in school and we are very busy and babies are a lot of work. So he told me, "Me and dad can take care of her, it is not hard!" Boy, do I wish that were true! My boys love babies, I just wish we had done things in a different order, it would have made life much easier! :)

Conner like I said before is now in a big bed and in the same room with Covin. They have done so good so far. Only a few episodes of making Conner get back into bed. Every time I take Conner in the room I ask Covin not to talk to him so he will just go to sleep. Covin is so good he says Ok I will just pretend to sleep. One night I could hear some laughing and I peaked in and Conner was sitting up in his bed saying, "Ovin, Ovin!" trying to wisper......So I busted open the door and said What are you doing!! It scared both of them. Covin started panicking, "Mom, I didn't talk to him he was just trying to talk to me." I was so hard not to crack up while I was in there! They both have been so much happier about bed time now that they have each other! The only time Conner throws a fit about going to bed is when he has to take a nap by himself!

Shaffen always talks about taking Covin crawdad fishing. So finally I said fine lets go. It was 1pm in the afternoon about 100 degrees and we are at a canal fishing with bacon trying to catch crawdads. As soon as they put the pole in the water they caught one. I am not sure what Covin thought we were going to catch, but a crawdad wasn't it! He freaked out threw the pole at Shaffen and was half way up the wash before we knew it! It was hilarious!!! We ended up catching 12 in 30 minutes! It was crazy!

We also drove to Sierra Vista yesterday to take the boys to the water park there! It is indoors and every 5 minutes waves come. They also have 2 water slides. Covin and Shaffen had a lot of fun, while I stayed with Conner while he cried his eyes out. That kid hates the water! As soon as I took him out he was a completely different kid! He is such a mess. We do wonder who's kid he is. He hates a lot of things, we are just figuring it out that he hates anything he can't control. Water is not one of them, he clung to me with his arms and was squeezing me with his legs! While we were there we were able to visit with our friends that moved away a year ago. i didn't realize how much I missed them. I wish we were better at keeping in touch! I am sure it will be better now that we know we still like each other!!! haha

Me and Nikki have been taking the boys on walks in the evening. She is trying to teach Carsen how to ride his bike without training wheels. It is a lot of work. She would probably have success if we didn't have so many other boys riding in traffic!!! They have been pretty good, but they don't last long enough for Nikki and I to get a work out, physically anyways!!!

All in all it has been a crazy busy week! We are doing T-ball, swimming lessons and Shaffen and I are trying to keep caught up with school. The kids are a crack up and so far it has been a fun summer! There are many things to come.......We can't wait!

Conner's Birthday party!

Saturday we had Conner his Birthday party. What was I thinking having it the same time he was supposed to take a nap! Well he survived and wasn't TOO bad!

This little boy loves lights and sirens so we had him a Fire truck birthday. A friend of ours is on the Fire Department and brought the truck down for the party. It was so funny watching his face when he heard the sirens and then it came to the park. He immediately ran to it.

We had arranged it for him to spray the kids. It was hilarious, they we running around and screaming like crazy people. They got soaked. Luckily it was so hot that they were dry in no time! :)

Grandpa Chris and Thresa bought him a new Spider man bike, which he loves by the way!
He also received jerky from Chris and wouldn't put it down to open the rest of his presents UNTIL........
The fire truck came out! Then it was over. He wouldn't let anyone else touch it!

Thank you everyone for coming although it was so HOT! Also thank you for the gifts. He has not put down the toys since we got home. He even sits and watches TV with the fire truck. What a mess! I think the kids all had fun, Covin said his favorite part was the Fire truck spraying him. Spoiled kids, BUT I wouldn't have it any other way!
