Covin turned 7!!!

My little man turned 7 last Saturday. It's crazy these years have flown by! He is a pretty good kid....typical naughty...but overall a good kid. He is very intrigued with learning about everything! He asks a lot of questions and when we don't know the answer we tell him to ask Steven (Rachel's husband). Steven has a good way of explaining things...and no we don't let him call Steven every time! HAHA! I am not really sure what he will be when he grows up but it will be a combination of a Police officer, the guy who fixes railroad crossing arms, the guy who fixes the traffic lights, pilot, a doctor, and possibly a professional football/baseball player! Who knows but I will let him want to be everything. He does really good at school...except for the listening part...he tends to not listen to people. He is such a good big brother. They play so well together. It is funny to see them miss each other. They do get into pretty good fights but I just let them duke it out on their own! Covin is a good helper when it is something that he thinks is fun, like doing the dishes, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher, and unloading the washer and dryer. He very much dislikes cleaning his room and cleaning up the bathroom. I think he will make a good husband someday when he is like 30! Shaffen hates when I tell him he can get married when he is 30! ;o)

Here is Covin the day he was born. I was in labor for 19 hours and finally ended up with a C-section that evening. Huge sigh of relief for me!!! 7:52 that night Covin Cy Woods came into the world screaming weighing 8lbs 11oz. Loved the chunky butt! He came home in size 1 diapers.

His 3rd birthday. Rachel had taken pictures and accidentally deleted them. Our neighbor took random pictures and gave them to me later on!

4th birthday...gotta love Lightning McQueen!

5th birthday...I think he is soo handsome!

6th birthday....and missing 1 top tooth!

And finally his 7th birthday! He is way into football. Especially the Cardinals! Happy birthday little man!

He had a really good birthday. We started off with going tubing with the family up on Mt. Graham. My parents came to town for his birthday and my dad went with us along with Rachel's family and Jarrod's family. WE HAD A BLAST!!! The snow was sooo deep. They went off a steep hill and all loved it. They weren't even scared! Let me clarify...Covin, Dallin, Carsen, Carlee, Steven, Jarrod, Shaffen, my Dad, and Rachel were not scared.

Here is me and Conner. My parents thankfully brought down a lot of snow clothes and snow boots for us. My snow suit was red...and it was HOT!!!!

Shaffen made it to the bottom covered in snow....we tried to tell him to pick up his feet!

We got back to town at about 1:30 had to shower and then off to the party at the bowling alley!

And the oh so coveted MarioKart....which is a repeat gift because the lost the other one! Oh well he was one Happy kid!

All of his grandparents came....3 of them from out of town. Josh and Jaeden came from Tucson. And Becki and Chloe came for a little while before she had to go to work. Friends and all the rest of the family came and bowled. He got a lot of nice things, Thank you everyone for coming and making his day "THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!" This makes it all worth it!
