WAAHOO for SUMMER!!!

Two weeks ago Covin and Carsen (Jarrod and Nikki's oldest boy) had baseball games and they played each other! It was hilarious. Those two boys were cracking me up. Covin hit the ball and Carsen started cheering for him. Carsen was playing 3rd base and this is Covin on 3rd. They were hanging out.
I missed getting the picture of Carsen hitting the ball and Covin started jumping up and down from the out field to cheer Carsen on. He had his hands in the air and was yelling for him to run. When they passed each other they would tell the other one you did a good job!!! I love that they can play ball with each other and that they still want the other one to still do good! It was great to watch them play!

That following Monday we left for California! I have a ton of pictures but on the other post you can click on the picture to see most of them. There were to many to try to upload on here.

The start of our awesome week! We pretty much walked onto every ride Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday got a little crazy! We had a lot of fun this year. Conner was tall enough to go on almost every ride excluding the roller coaster. He hated most of the fast rides but we made him do it anyways. He eventually figured out that he wasn't going to get hurt! We even took him on Space Mountain. We had never been on it before....yep 3 out of 4 of us hated it. I was talking Conner into it the whole time. He was very excited about going into space, until we got near the ride and he tells me, "Mom, it kind of looks like a Roller Poster (coaster)!" So we strap in and he grabbed my arm to hold on for dear life! He started yelling at me on the ride, "I want to go back to earth!" He cracks me up!

We got pictures with most of the characters, which was fun. Conner only hated Mickey Mouse, why he doesn't like him I will never know! He loved Pluto...ran right up to him and hugged him. Then his next favorite was Handy Mandy (Manny)! :o)

Conner's favorite rides were Dumbo, the carousel, and any of the car rides.

Covin LOVED everything...we excluding the Indiana Jones ride, he closed his eyes and put his head down the entire time! He is at such a fun age...he did every ride that Shaffen wanted to go on. Covin's favorite ride was the water raft ride at California Adventure. I believe he went on it 3-4 times! We had a lot of fun together and a lot of frustrating moments too!

That Friday we got up and drove to go to the beach. The water of course was freezing but that did not stop any of us from playing in it. Covin was a trooper he was in the water for about 2 hours. The rest of us would get in and then dry off in the sun. We were there for about 30 minutes when we saw this.....

First I thought it was a shark....

Then we saw that there were about 5 dolphins! It was amazingly crazy...they were really close. I zoomed my camera about half way is all!

We watched they for about 15 minutes before they were gone!

They were only as far as the waves started to roll in! It was a blast...besides my legs and feet getting fried!!!! :o)

This was the last week for the boys for school! (I am sooooo excited to be able to sleep in!!!) Conner's class had a little program.

His teacher had the kids sing us about 5 songs. They were hilarious!

So it has been a crazy, fun, exciting, and relieving 2 weeks! I am finished with school for the summer (super excited for the break)! I sound like a dork but I can't even begin to explain my happiness!!!! Shaffen is already commenting on being excited about having me home...which confuses me because I have been home....but my stress level is much much lower!!! I have one more semester to complete before I am finished with my degree in Nursing!!! WHAAHOOO!!! I never thought that would come out of my mouth...it has been such a long way to go...I can finally see an end to all of this craziness!!!
