Frustrating day!

My kids keep me filled with stories! I worked yesterday from 6am to about 6:15pm last night. Shaffen called me all day saying the kids were coughing like crazy and they were driving him nuts! Well I didn't really have time to pay attension because we were so busy yesterday in the ER. There were so many people with the flu, rsv, and strep. I got coughed on and sneezed on that I was so groused out I called Rachel to see if she could keep my kids while I showered. Shaffen had to work at 6pm, as soon as I got home. So Rachel ended up coming to my house because the boys were sick. Anyways after she left I finished cooking dinner and fed the kids. I was so tired and not in the mood for sick kids and crying. I was easily frustrated. I ended up loading the kids and taking them to Walgreens for a different cough syrup. Conner was crying because I put him in the basket. So after 5-10 minutes of crying I had enough so I let him out. He stayed by me until Covin decided to chase him. I was up front trying to pay and Covin chased him right to the sliding doors. So he proceed to run out. I ran and grabbed him just then I turned around and watched the basket flip over on Covin, who landed face first. He likes to stand on the front of the basket and face out, well with me not holding on to it he then leaned forward, yeah dumped him right on his face. Covin started screaming, his mouth was bleeding. So brotherly love, Conner started screaming too! AAAHHHHHHH!!!!! It was so frustrating! These ladies wanted me to take him to the bathroom to clean him up and I just wanted to LEAVE! So luckily, after cleaning him up, he had a bloody fat bottom lip and now his top 2 teeth are loose. I was sure something was broken or gone! I did not want to go back to the ER! It seems like once you are frustrated then everything seems to go wrong! You couldn't tell by the picture the these boys are such messes!!!! :) It does seem a little funnier today!

I just love those days!! I'm sure the people at the store felt sorry for you too. We have all passed the sickness around too. Actually Keenan and Kort have been fine so far, it's just me Richie and Bella. So fun. Hope ya have a better week. Love ya.

Sounds like one of those days when you're just holding out for bedtime so you can start all over again. I'm glad nothing was broken! (and that you can laugh about it today!)

It seems so easy, to just run into walgreens to get to some couph syrup...Yeah right!!!!!Only a tired mom of sick kids knows how easy that is...Well good luck on the nursing program, it sounds like we're at the same point.

Sick kids are miserable!!! If mine are healthy for a week straight I consider myself lucky!
