Covin's Christmas program!

Yesterday, Covin had a Christmas program at the auditorium at the College. They had 420 students, from K-3rd grade. It was VERY intertaining. The kids did a really good job. Each grade performed by themselves and they all had at least one song where the kids were dancing. There was a 50's dance in one grade. Breakdancers in another grade. I was shocked that they weren't scared. They did a really good job. This group of pictures is the Kindergarten class only. There are a lot of them! They sang a Snowflake song. I had never heard it before.

BUT it was this song that we all died laughing. They sang "I ain't gettin nothin for Christmas!" The music teacher said she had to convince them to sing the song even though they didn't agree with what it said. She had to tell them it was a pretend song and she knew that they were all getting presents because they are so good! Covin is directly in the middle in a green shirt. Anyways, Rachel recorded a little on my camera because we were laughing so hard. These kids got into it! They did hand motions and everything. They had scowled looks on their faces the whole time. I wish we would have thought to record it all because it was so cute! The video is a little jumpy.

This is all of the kids......

How cute!!! It looks like and sounds like it was perfect!! That's good that they had it there where there was lots of room. Ours was a little cramped at the Safford's Fine Arts place.
