Woods Christmas party!

This last weekend we had a Woods family Christmas party. We had it at our house. We all pitched in and made it possible for 2 families to have Christmas. We were able to find 2 families with some of our friends help. Each family was in charge of a certain age child. All together we had 2 HUGE boxes of presents cookies and a bag for the moms. It was fun to do. The kids helped out as much as they could, we tried explaining to them what we were doing and why. Hopefully they get it. Covin's answer to giving another kid a present is that he would get more from Santa because he was being very nice!

Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Clint!

This is my Conner, he just looks like he is planning TROUBLE!

Rocko and Maverik writing letters to family.
Charly and Covin these 2 are about 2 weeks apart. They both have teeth falling out like crazy! They should be rich by now!
This is Maverik, I think he looks just like his dad. He has quite the personality and carries on a very interesting conversation for a 3 year old! :)
This is Chloe. This is one of her faces she makes often. She can give some of the dirtiest looks you have ever seen! She cracks me up!
Jaeden the oldest of all the kids! I asked him if he likes being the oldest and he told me he did and he can tell the kids what to do and they listen! Smart kid!

Here is one of the families boxes of things. The kids are ready to go!
This is baby Cole. Such a cute face!
Maverik......DONE!!! Don't you just wish you could sleep anywhere???!!!!

This is our last drop off. They put everything on the porch, Josh would wait for them to almost make it back to the truck and he would knock and run.
Josh and Chloe.....our day is done!

I was fun getting everyone together. I was so excited that everything worked out this year. Shaffen always gets a honey baked ham from work, so we ate ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls (from golden corral), and green beans! I was very relieved that the food turned out great. It always makes me nervous to feed other people. We ate it all so it must not have been so bad! We snacked all day, kids got to open presents, white elephant exchange (Good job to Micah on getting the best gift, you know we love ya!!!! ;) Homemade pumpkin pie, great job Becki. And best of all giving people a Christmas! I really enjoy doing things for people and I was so excited that everything worked out!!! Thank you guys for coming we had fun! Definitely better to give than to receive!

Misty!!!!
What a great hostess!!!
Thanks for all that you did. I am so sorry for the run off that Clint and I had to do but work called for us.
You and Shaffen are great parents and Aunt and Uncle. The idea of giving not just one but two families a Christmas went above and beyond! You definately deserve a gold star!

Just know that we love and appreciate all you did! Awesome.

Love Bonnie

PS Micah's white elephant gift, well, best laugh I have had in a while. Good job!

Thank you Misty and Shaffen! You did a great job with the party. The potatoes and gravy were so delicious I keep on thinking about them. And although "the pump" was a great white elephant gift my kids are obsessed with the pooping reindeer. I vote that you should be in charge every year!!!

Misty Marie,
Looks like a fun party. I liked reading all your nieces and nephews names...Maverik and Rocko cute. Way to go helping others. Doesn't it feel great to know that you helped put a smile on someone elses face and sometimes it's that one act of kindness that pulls a person through a very difficult time. I miss you all and hope you have a Merry Christmas.
