I have been really busy lately, so I have been neglecting my blog! Between school, work, programs, baseball, and everything in between some days we are lucky to have dinner! In the beginning of April Covin's school had a program. It was called 3 of a kind. Covin was one of the 3 Billy Goats Gruff. He is not one who likes to be the center of attention. He refuses to have speaking parts, he is really shy! He did a good job that day!
Easter Weekend
My boys coloring Easter eggs! Covin had gone to the Conrad's house and decorated eggs earlier and they were great! (Thank you Misty) Then he came home to finish with Conner. They did a great job...I should have taken pictures of their fingers afterwards! Wow what a mess! By the way, I do not recommend the SPONGE kits! I think Conner's fingers were colored for a week!
The finished product! They also decided to make some for their dad since he was at work! His are the PINK ones! :o)
Easter Morning
The Easter bunny was VERY generous this year!
Kites, Slinky's, candy!!!!!!
We also bought the boys their very own Scriptures!
I think they were more excited about getting their own Scriptures than anything!
Conner takes his everywhere!
Oh and they got their own REAL shovels!!!
After lunch we took the boys to Bonite Creek to drive through the River!
Easter Morning
We also bought the boys their very own Scriptures!
Oh and they got their own REAL shovels!!!
They absolutely LOVE splashing through the water!
Definitely BOYS!!!
We let them get out and go dig with their new shovels!
Such BOYS!!!!
This is out of order but I don't really care! :o)
During Spring break we drove to Duncan to see Becki, Brett, and Chloe! Their dog had I think 11 puppies! Conner REALLY loves dogs!
Chloe and Conner! I think it was St. Patricks day! So cute!
SPRING BREAK
We took the boys to the Litchfield Park Zoo. Shaffen and I both had to work, so we left right after school the Friday it started. Here are the boys on the train ride!

We let them feed the animals in the petting zoo. Conner LOVED it!
And Covin was good telling Conner what to do. Covin did not want anything to do with them! It was hilarious!

Covin finally got close to a deer to pet. I was trying to get a picture and the deer started pooping and Covin RAN away! I was cracking up!
Here we are inside the Aquarium! We told Conner we were going to see penguins and he told us that there was not going to be any because they live at the North Pole! Much to his surprise there they were!
The boys feeding the Giraffes! Yet again Conner not scared and Covin OK with Conner doing it! Covin was nervous!
This giraffe totally licked all the way up Conner's arm...Conner was laughing!
My BOYS!!!
I don't think my dad would have even cared if Conner would of cut his hair without help. Conner told my mom that, "I am a good hair cutter!" "I am a Chef and a hair cutter!"
So here is Chef Conner making Nikki's birthday cake!

It was also his day to take snacks to preschool. So Chef Conner decided he should make brownies. That day they were learning about the Police. So we cut the brownies into stars and wrote police on them! He was VERY excited and told me that EVERYONE said they were delicious!
My house is crazy right now! I am trying to juggle everyone and everything! I have a ton to do before the semester is over (which is in 17 days but who is counting)!!! ;o) I am soooo excited to finish this semester and have a break with my kids. I feel like I have been neglecting them! Shaffen has been such a HUGE help with the house and the boys! Probably because if he doesn't do the laundry he may not have any clean clothes! My poor family needs a break as much as I do! The day I complete my final we are going to Disneyland!!! We went last year around the same time and had a blast! We are sooo excited to go again!

We let them get out and go dig with their new shovels!

Lately we have been seeing A LOT of Grandma Toni and Papa! There has been Birthdays and she has come and stayed with the boys while I went to Phoenix for clinicals! I think this day they were down for Carsen's birthday. Papa had LONG CRAZY hair. My mom kept telling him that he needed a hair cut. So I offered my clippers and Conner volunteered to cut his hair.

Covin is playing baseball in Safford and in Thatcher! The seasons shouldn't over lap. He is getting really good! I am excited to watch him play! Conner will play in Thatcher when it starts!
Conner has been keeping me laughing lately! On Tuesday his teacher sent home a paper that he needed to practice cutting. I was trying to show him how to hold the paper. He started cutting and then said OW! I said, "Did you cut your finger?" He pulled his hand out and looked at it and said, "Oh, Nope my finger is still there!"
Yesterday, I picked Conner up from school and we met Shaffen for lunch. After we finished I was driving us home. Conner started talking about Richie. He says, "I wish I could go to Richie's house everyday!" I said, "Really? Why?" He tells me, "Richie's house is fun, he has stairs and I like to play in the snow!" I said, "oh yeah?" He tells me, "Yeah, I wish Richie would move here so I can see him everyday!" So I don't know where that all came from....BUT RICHIE WE NEED TO SEE YOU apparently!!!! ;o)
We are also VERY excited about the Temple opening here! The boys had a church activity yesterday. So I was telling them about the Temple. Conner starts telling us that Jesus lives in there. I told them that we are going to take them in it next Tuesday. Conner starts clapping as says, "Yeah, we get to see Jesus!!!!" It is really hard to explain to a 3 year old where Jesus really lives! :o)
Thank you Rachel for the pictures! (I stole them off of her blog :o))

So here they had the kids let balloons go with their promises on them. It was really neat! Too bad the weather wasn't good. We had fun finding all the balloons across town stuck in trees!
I am finally finished with Clinicals for the semester but now need to complete all of my paperwork. I am soo grateful for my family who continues to help us out with our kids! I know it is hard but we REALLY appreciate all you do for us! I am almost done!!! December is not that far AWAY!!!!!!

I'm ready for this semester to be over too and I'm not even in school. Maybe next year I won't have problems with any of the kids teachers...we can only hope!
That's so exciting that the semester is almost over, and that you finished your last clinical. I'm starting to get burned out. I still haven't found out if I got accepted to the nursing program yet. Ahhh! I just wanna know already! That's so nice of your mom to come stay with your kids. I won't have that luxury if my mom's in the nursing program at the same time as me, and Brent's mom works. Hmmmm.... I'll have to figure something out. Anyway, hope you guys have a blast at Disneyland! <3
Oh, and I forgot to tell you... I like your hair! It looks really cute curly.
I can relate to busy life and I'm not even in school! I guess it's good for us though, right?! It was fun catching up on your doings--I miss ya...I never see you any more! And have fun at Disneyland--it's definitely one of our favorite vacation spots!!!
